This Piccolo Hollow-Body Bass was a commissioned piece for a client who had great intuition and very detailed ideas for the project. That always makes a project easier when you know exactly what the player wants, and especially when they are good at communicating their vision. It was a really interesting guitar, made with solid English Ash on the top, back and sides. The neck is torrified maple, with an ebony fingerboard. The customer wanted a bolt-on neck joint so he can disassemble it for traveling.
